The debut of Bring That Beat Back is finally upon us, Thursday July 22nd (9PM) to Bar Dynamite. Bring That Beat Back will be hosted by San Diego’s one & only Suga Bear, and will be held down with the sounds of a dynamic trio of local DJ talent: Steven Flex, J.Blow & Joemama.
If you aren’t familiar with the lineup, Steven Flex (Fam Royal / Designated Hittaz) has become a household name in San Diego for his selfless contributions to local Hip-Hop music & underground culture ever since his early days as a founding member of LPSD. Also throwing down will be Fam Royal’s J.Blow – who has made a name for himself holding down residencies all over San Diego including the epic Saturday nights as Landlord Jim’s, as well as a respected Friday night spot on Earthbound Radio (listen at SteadyCrushin.com). Last but certainly not least, we have DJ Joemama (ESA / Every Starving Artist), known for his full spectrum of multi-genre sounds, who’s played hot spots coast to coast & places in between. To top it off… we have MC Suga Bear, a founding member of Constructive R.U.K.U.S. & local pioneer of the bridge between hip-hop & skateboarding (a man who really needs no introduction). Suga Bear will be blessing the mic, getting you on the dance floor & keeping you there.
